It isn't very often that community music groups perform chamber music. Usually when they do, it is one piece on a program. That's why the next concert by the Concord Chamber Orchestra is special. The entire concert is a collection of small chamber pieces put together by the orchestra members themselves.
The concert will be on Sunday January 31 at the North Shore Congregational Church in Fox Point, and it begins at 1:30 PM. I must point out that the Super Bowl is the following week, so no football will be missed by attending the concert!
The music will be varied, from voice and bass clarinet, to string quartet, to octet. Rather than listing all of the program details here, please check the Concord Chamber Orchestra web site for more information and to order tickets online.
