Sorry for the delay

Sometimes the day job and other things get in the way of posting the news about community music.  The good news is that all of the groups are working on their music for spring performances.

In fact, working on spring music is the reason for the next event:  Brass at the Border III on Sunday Feb. 26 at 3PM.  The event will feature four different British-style Brass Bands that are fine tuning their music for the upcoming North American Brass Band Championships, March 10 and 11 in Fort Wayne, IN.

Spend a Sunday afternoon in Milton WI at the High School listening to the performances of each of these bands:

• Madison Brass Band 
• Illinois Brass Band 
• Chicago Brass Band
• and the defending champions Milwaukee Festival Brass 

Tickets for Brass at the Border are $15, or $12 for seniors and students and are available on the MFB website or may be purchased at the door. Group rates are available. For more information, and for directions to the Milton High School Auditorium, please visit the Milwaukee Festival Brass web site.
