Holiday Concert Calendar and the Concord Chamber Orchestra

So that it is easy for you to mark your calendar with all of the Holiday concerts, here is the list that I have.

• Fri.    9  7:30 Waukesha Area Symphonic Band at Carroll University 
• Sat.   10  2:00 Milwaukee Metropolitan Community Concert Band at Mitchell Park Domes
• Sat.   10  7:00 Milwaukee Festival Brass, Pius XI High School, Milwaukee
• Sun.  11  6:00 Lakeshore Symphonic Band at the Basilica at Holy Hill
• Sun.  11  3:00 Menomonee Falls Symphony at Hamilton Fine Arts Center
• Sat.   17  TBA  Horns A Plenty Christmas in Appleton (more information to follow)

The Concord Chamber Orchestra will perform on Saturday December 3 at the Basilica of St. Josephat at 7PM.  The concert theme is The Greatest Story, even though the concert will delve into two great stories.  The first is the story of a toy that comes alive, as the Orchestra performs music from The Nutcracker.  The the Orchestra performs Poulenc's Gloria, celebrating the Greatest Story Ever Told.
