Racine Concert Band update

The Racine Concert Band finishes it's 93rd Concert season in August, and here is the list of the last few concerts.
  • July 31 - RCB is joined by former Miss Wisconsin and Racine native Jeanie Hatfield for an evening of jazz standards.  Paul Taylor performs on the euphonium.
  • August 7 - Music Director Mark Eichner performs on the trumpet and tubists Zach Hamilton and Dave Boyd perform a tuba duet with the band.
  • August 14 - Soprano Melisa Cardamone joins the band in operatic favorites and jazz standards.  Adam Maegaard performs music of Mozart on the French Horn.
Keep in mind that, if you play the Racine Concert Band Quiz each week, your entries (right or wrong) are entered into the Summer Sweepstakes Spectacular.  This year, besides gift certificates to wonderful Racine restaurants, you can also win a Fitbit Blaze.

The July 31 concert begins at 7:30 and the August concerts begin at 7PM.  All concerts are at the Kiwanis Club Amphitheater on the grounds of the Racine Zoo.  The easiest entrance to the concert grounds is at the lake on Augusta Street.  Hope to see you there.
