The last concert of the summer season is Sunday August 24 at the Racine Zoo. The Racine Concert Band performs and hosts its Summer Sweepstakes Spectacular, giving away prizes after every piece of music in the concert. It is always a lot of fun and a lot of folks walk away with nice gifts including dinner certificates for restaurants in the Racine area.
After the Labor Day holiday, I will be publishing the list of community music groups in Southeastern Wisconsin followed by the 2014-2015 Concert Calendar. Something to post to your refrigerator door!
