News from Chill On The Hill
A Milwaukee tradition will continue this year. The Milwaukee American Legion Band will perform at Humboldt Park again this year. The Legion Band has been performing in Milwaukee parks since before I was born. And they will perform this summer on Tuesday June 27, the Tuesday before July 4th. The program will feature some light classics, music from the movies and Broadway, and patriotic marches.
Bring a picnic dinner or purchase from the different vendors and food trucks. Maybe a stop at the Humboldt Park Beer Garden before the concert is in order. But be sure to take in a Milwaukee tradition.
And the week before that, on June 20th, the folks at Chill On The Hill welcome the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra for a wonderful concert. Be sure to get there early. The hill will fill up quickly!
