Update for Horns A Plenty Christmas in Appleton
First, don't forget the Drums of Christmas performed by the Menomonee Falls Symphony on Sunday December 6 at 3PM in the Sussex Hamilton Fine Arts Center.
There is a new venue for the Horns A Plenty Christmas performance in Appleton on Saturday December 19th. The concert will be held at the Fine Arts Center of St. Mary's High School in Neenah. The schedule remains the same and information can be found on the Horns A Plenty Christmas web site.
I have also learned that a new piece of Christmas Music will be performed by some of the adult members of the group that afternoon. I think this is great because the young players just starting out can see an example of what they might be playing if they continue with the French Horn.
There is no admission charge. Any free will donations will be used for French Horn scholarships. This event is definitely worth the drive to the Fox Valley (if you don't live in that area, of course).
Hope to see you there.
